I am Akshit Kumar from Pathankot, Punjab. I am pursuing BTech (3rd year) in Chemical Engineering from IIT(BHU). I am a sports enthusiast and like to play kabaddi, Football and Hockey.I am General Secretary of Games and Sports Council, IIT (BHU) for the session 2020-2021. I have successfully managed and organised various competitions in my institute like Invitational Hockey League, Inter-Hostel hockey Tournament . I am looking forward to improving sports culture in my college as sports plays a vital role in shaping a Student's personality and attitude towards life. As a General secretary, my aim is to make everyone learn the importance of sports and physical activities.During this period of lockdown, I support the great initiative of WINIndia Movement which will encourage physical fitness in us by simply guiding us to perform exercises at home.
