I am Breasha Gupta, the newly elected Institute Sports Secretary for IIT Madras. I'm a third year undergraduate student pursuing a Dual Degree from the Department of Biotechnology. I’ve played tennis, swimming and chess for my Institute at the Inter IIT Sports meet and while the majority of my recreational time is dedicated to sports, I also enjoy reading and dancing. As a former women’s representative I’ve tried my best to initiate as many women into the sporting sphere as I believe that sports has a lot to offer, in terms of the experience, learning and the value it adds to each person and will work towards extending the same benefit through my tenure to every single student in IIT Madras. Health is a habit, and through this WINIndia initiative we aim to reach out to as many millennials out there and inculcate this habit in each one of them.
