Dr. Shaun Sabico completed his medical training at the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines and obtained his PhD in medical sciences last year at Warwick Medical School, Warwick University, UK. He is currently the deputy director and incoming assistant professor at the Chair for Biomarkers of Chronic Diseases in King Saud University. He has authored more than a hundred scientific papers from reputable journals and a recipient of numerous honors from international scientific conferences, most recent of which is the Young Investigator Award from the World Congress of Osteoporosis, which he won twice: 2017 in Florence, Italy and 2018 in Krakow, Poland. He recently received the prestigious International Osteoporosis Foundation Pierre Meunier Young Scientist Award in Paris, France last April 6.
