General Secretary Sports and Games IIT Kharagpur

I am Mayank Manjeara, a pre-final year student pursuing a B.Tech course in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at IIT Kharagpur.

Guided by the words "Sports don't build character, they reveal it", I have been involved in sports since my childhood. I have been a part of the football team in IIT Kharagpur. Currently, serving as General Secretary Sports and Games at IIT Kharagpur have always worked for the welfare of the student community. I was the overall coordinator for the 54th Inter IIT Sports Meet. Looking after the Sports Contingent, I helped the contingent win the General Championship after 14 years. I believe that fitness and sports are an integral part of an individual's life and education. The WINIndia Campaign started by all the IITs relays the message of importance of health and fitness across the nation.
