I am Reddi Sai Vamsi, Sports Secretary of IIT Patna. I am a fourth-year undergraduate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. I am a sports enthusiast and love to play Cricket and volleyball. I have represented my Institute at the Inter IIT Sports Meet as a member of the volleyball team. As a Sports Secretary, my aim has been to create new opportunities for everyone to play and learn. I believe a lot in teamwork and with the help of my sports council, I have initiated the Inter college general championship –khelo, got a huge response from the student side but called off due to Covid-19. WIN India provides a platform for all the sports enthusiasts to keep fit in the quarantine days. I believe that sports are an integral part of a student’s college life and aid a student in learning key values while also keeping them mentally and physically fit. I believe that the WIN India Movement initiated by all the IIT’s together aims to spread awareness about the importance of fitness and health. Also, I am always up for the welfare of the sports community of IIT Patna.
